Maybe Mr. Modi should have done a Rafale and bought out the entire consignment of nuke submarines the French were left with as a result of AUKUS? USD 40 billion - silly change, no? And ordered some more to rub it in. It would have left India the premier naval power in the Indian Ocean in one go.
perhaps you are being facetious, but alas, the french deal with oz was for diesel submarines. but yes, they do have nuclear propulsion tech, and there's no good reason why we can't create a france-japan-india triad and get the technology transferred. boo to aukus!
Excellent piece, splendidly written ! I was in fact thinking of what you said - anglosphere? non-whites snubbed : this was exactly what I had in my mind and you took the words out of my
mouth. Looks like white hegemony. China may have the last laugh, I hope not. Poor Japan.
U.S was always treacherous, maybe from the days of Nixon-Kissinger. But what irks me is that
while it doesn't want to part with its latest and sophisticated weaponry, it absolutely has no moral
or legal right - no credible ground for arguing either - to lay sanctions. It poked its nose in Vietnam
Afghanistan, and now wants to retreat saying the era is over - BS in their own language ! Either
it lacks moral will, coupled with guts to take on the Yellow men who they nurtured, or they don't
find economic gains coming out of it. Rank opportunists. About Peter Daszack, Dr. Joseph
Mercola has mentioned him in one of his newsletters. He trusts no one, including the Big Tech and
Big Pharma. The epigram of Napoleon was interesting and very apt for today's situation.
thanks. yes, white anglosphere is a bad idea, esp since i don't see the UK adding much value. and the US is basically proliferating nuclear technology to an NPT signatory. not good.
