i was reading this otherwise informative article comparing clubhouse and twitter https://onezero.medium.com/clubhouse-is-the-anti-twitter-c50ff7acca1a, and lo and behold! here’s this little diversion into an article by this vicious little foul-mouthed liar vidya krishnan (from nram’s TheHindu stable) in the Atlantic. what it shows is twofold: the andolanjeevi types can create memes that hurt the general image of india (this is truth by repeated assertion); and second, the power of distribution channels. for whatever it’s worth, relics like the Atlantic still get reads in the anglosphere, and therefore crap peddled by them become the truth.
