'Abide with me' had toiled in well-deserved obscurity for years; it is now time to replace it with something purely indigenous such as the 'Daiva-dasakam'

thanks, rama. the daiva dashakam is an outstanding and non-denominational hymn, suitable as a prayer for any occasion. there are many sanskrit hymns too of great merit. there is no need to go with some utterly obscure british work.
